RES24SEVEN - REAL-TIME DYNAMIC PACKAGING TRAVEL SOLUTION
Res 24 Seven is a
real time, on-line accommodation sales
and distribution system providing instantaneous
availability searches and confirmation
of reservations at over 700 accommodation
establishments in Southern Africa, ranging
from guesthouses to exclusive game lodges.
Res 24 Seven is the first system in South
Africa to interact with multiple reservation
systems for the purpose of consolidating
inventory into one system for distribution
across multiple sales channels.
The Res 24 Seven system was developed
by MT Beds, PortalUniverse and eRes to
facilitate the flow of on-line, real
time reservations for use by tour operators,
travel agents and public websites. Integration
interfaces exist to the following reservation
and Property Management systems:

- Fidelio Version 7
- Opera
- InterRes
- Semper (previously Lodgemaster)
- CLS
- Jade
- Medallion
- LanMark
- INNKeeper
These interfaces allow Res 24 Seven to
view actual room inventory at any establishment
using one of these systems. This inventory
is then made available via the Internet
to tour operators, travel agents and
public websites, such as airline websites.
Commission income is split with the host
website affording the site owner a source
of passive income.
The amount of income is directly proportional
to the volume of traffic and the relevance
of the website to travellers wishing
to make accommodation bookings. Airline
websites are therefore obvious potential
partners and the Res 24 Seven solution
also adds value to an airline's
clients utilising the public online ticket
