REMIND-U MEDICAL - DIABETES MANAGEMENT SOLUTION
Remind-U Medical was conceptualized in order to effectively manage the increasing volumes of
clinical patient data associated with running a large scale national diabetes management program.
The system streamlines the data management requirements for individual doctors and allows for
simplified data extraction and reporting to managed health care companies and medical insurance
companies.
The system has unlimited scalability and can deal with any volume of patient data spanning multiple
centres overseen by a central authority, whether this is a managed health care organization, a NGO,
a HMO or Government itself. The centralised data repository provides a platform with enormous
research potential.
Remind-U Medical has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Roche Diagnostics based on our
ability to interface with, and upload data from, Roche blood glucose monitors and insulin pumps.
Uploaded data from these devices are automatically allocated to individual patients records on the
central database.
During the recent IDF conference held at the CTICC in Cape Town from the 3rd till the 7th December 2006,
Remind-U Medical & Roche Diagnostics exhibited the Web-based Diabetes Management System at the
Roche Global Diagnostics stand.
